COVID-19 Update | March 18, 2020

Back to News

Valued Members,

As you know, we are living in a moment of great uncertainty. With new information about the COVID-19 coronavirus emerging daily and guidance from authorities evolving along with it, I wanted to send you a follow-up message to let you know about the additional steps we are taking to safeguard the health of our staff as well as our members. We have created a resource center on our homepage to hold this and any subsequent updates. Access it here: https://callfederal.org/coronavirus-updates/

Drive-Thru Only

As of Saturday, March 21st, all branch lobbies will close and we will serve our members via drive-thru only. Our three locations that lack drive-thrus (Staples Mill, Chester, Hancock Village) will close and staff from those locations will be reassigned to help deal with the additional traffic elsewhere. The drive-thru at our Richmond branch on Commerce Road will now be open on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm. Additionally, our phone-based member support team will also be available on Saturdays from 9am-12pm. We hope this added capacity makes up for the closures of the retail branches and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Appointments

Acknowledging that some transactions and credit union business cannot be conducted via drive-thru, we will be utilizing a system for setting appointments on a limited basis. Members who wish to participate will complete an online form detailing their specific needs, from opening a new account to replacing a debit card, as well as selecting a preferred time and branch location. You can access the appointment form here.

Unwavering Commitment

None of us know what the long-term effects of this pandemic will be. Over these past few days, I’ve found comfort and purpose by focusing on our mission: to build relationships with our members, to help them reach their goals and improve their financial health… in any environment, through any available channel. Please know that we are doing everything that we can, as an organization, to see our staff and our members through this crisis for as long as it lasts.

Respectfully,

John West
President/CEO
Call Federal Credit Union
