Call Federal Credit Union has a new Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations this May, promoting two established leaders to positions of major impact. Bill Yascko has been named Vice President of Accounting and CFO, and Andrew Burnett is now Vice President of Operations.
Formerly the Director of Accounting and Finance, Bill Yascko will now work to engage with and understand the needs of the individuals that interact with Call Federal’s members on a daily basis. Through the insights gleaned from these conversations, he will work with others in senior management to develop and design products and solutions that continue to allow Call Federal’s member owners to reach their financial goals and improve their financial health.
“Each and every day that I come into work, I’m surrounded by the most amazing group of people who care about helping our members, whatever it takes,” says Yascko. “The members, their goals, and their financial health are always the focus.” Active as a youth soccer coach and within the Knights of Columbus, Yascko is dedicated to his adopted Richmond community, after time spent in Wilmington, Delaware with MBNA and in Fredericksburg, Virginia with Mary Washington Healthcare. In Richmond, he also has additional work experience with the World Access Service Corporation.
Andrew Burnett moves to his new position after serving as Call Federal’s Director of Information Systems for the past four years. He is passionate about supporting his coworkers by giving them the tools and resources needed to do their jobs more efficiently.
“Helping to make sure we are providing members with timely service and information is critical in the today’s financial services industry,” says Burnett. “Customers expect easy, reliable service and technology. Giving them what they need can only lead to their success as well as the greater success of Call Federal.” A native of Richmond, Burnett is an active community volunteer, and his past professional experiences with Capital One, IBM, and Saint Gertrude High School, among others, give even greater dimension to his work in and for central Virginia.
Established in 1962 by employees of Phillip Morris, Call Federal Credit Union has a strong history in the Richmond area, including their signature “Money and Beyond” financial education program. Their company-wide emphasis on helping others, from CFCU members to the greater Richmond community, has recently been recognized by Richmond BizSense, who named them one of the most generous companies in the area. Call Federal’s mission is to build relationships that help people reach their goals and improve their financial health.
