Event Description
Protect your information. Support veterans.
Have an old computer, unused laptop, or phone tucked away at home? Ahead of Veterans Day, Call Federal is partnering with Tech For Troops to give members a convenient way to clear out unwanted electronics, protect their personal information, and support veterans and their families.
Join us Friday, November 6, 2026, from 9 am–noon at our Chesterfield Branch. There is no cost to participating members, and staff will help unload your items.
What You Can Bring
Bring working or nonworking computers, laptops, phones, and tablets. Review the accepted-item guidelines before gathering other electronics for donation.
Before You Arrive
Back up anything you want to keep
Donated devices will be wiped or destroyed, so save important files, photos, and other information beforehand.
Leave computer hard drives installed
You do not need to remove them before donating.
Unlock phones and tablets when possible
Remove account locks and deactivate devices so they have the best opportunity for reuse. Locked phones and tablets are still accepted, but they will be destroyed.
Let us help with unloading
Staff will be available to assist with your items.
What Happens After Drop-Off?
Tech For Troops will transport collected equipment to its facility for assessment and processing. Usable devices will be securely wiped for refurbishment. Equipment that cannot be reused will be shredded.
Data wiping and equipment destruction take place at their facility, rather than at the event. Participants will receive a receipt for the items they donate.
