Brielle B.

A recent graduate of Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School, Brielle is headed to Purdue University to pursue a career in engineering, with a mission to increase diversity and representation in STEM. As a team lead in national physics competitions, a passionate advocate for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, and a dedicated volunteer with over four hundred service hours, she brings both leadership and heart to everything she does. She hopes to combine her knowledge of engineering and American Sign Language to inspire young students from all backgrounds to embrace STEM and envision a future where everyone belongs.

Rainah G.

A recent graduate of Cosby High School, Rainah will attend Old Dominion University as a first-generation college student, determined to make a difference in pediatric healthcare. Inspired by her mother’s salon, which serves as a safe haven for children and families who often feel unseen, she has spent years supporting children through spa birthday parties, sports camps, and community events. Her goal is to create meaningful change by bringing that same sense of comfort, compassion, and care to children in medical settings as a future nurse.

Alexander D.

As a rising Junior, Alexander is currently studying at American University and is dedicated to reducing gun violence through civic engagement, research, and grassroots advocacy. From interning with legislators to co-directing March for Our Lives on campus, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to education, policy reform, and empowering youth voices to shape safer communities. Whether mentoring peers or building data-driven solutions with Global Action on Gun Violence, his vision is to unite and mobilize people around a shared mission of meaningful, lasting change.

Jacey I.

Jacey, a rising Junior at Virginia Tech, is currently pursuing an Animal and Poultry Science degree on the Pre-Veterinarian track. Jacey is driven by a powerful mission to uplift both animals and the people who care for them through veterinary medicine and education. Her path has been shaped by resilience where she has committed herself to years of hands-on animal care, global service, and community engagement. With compassion, strength, and lived experience, she plans to become a veterinarian who not only heals but also mentors, advocates, and inspires hope for underserved communities around the world.
