We want to send local graduating high school students and current higher education students into the world, prepared to make a lasting impact.

Our Scholarship Program
Each year, we celebrate outstanding student-members through the Alice S. Pearce Scholarship program. This year, we are proud to award four $2,500 scholarships to support students in their academic journeys. If you will be a full-time student attending an accredited college, university, community college, or vocational/technical school for the 2025-2026 academic year, we would love for you to apply. More eligibility details are below.

Meet Alice S. Pearce
Mrs. Alice S. Pearce played a pivotal role in shaping Call Federal Credit Union, serving with dedication and leadership from its founding in 1962 until her retirement in 1991. In recognition of her unwavering commitment to the credit union and its members, the Alice S. Pearce Scholarship was established in 1997 to support and empower the next generation of student leaders.
How It Works
Call Federal awards four $2,500 scholarships each year to students who are committed to serving others. In order to qualify, you must:
Have An Account
Your Call Federal Credit Union account must be in your name as the primary owner, not as a joint owner, at the time of your scholarship application submission. Additionally, the account must be active (not dormant) and in good standing.
Be A Student
You must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be a graduating high school senior planning to attend an accredited college, university, community college, or vocational/technical school as a full-time student for each semester of the upcoming academic year, as defined by the institution.
OR
- Be a current full-time student enrolled in an accredited college, university, community college, or vocational/technical school for each semester of the upcoming academic year, as defined by the institution.
Submit The Application
The 2025 Alice S. Pearce Scholarship application is due by April 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Please complete the secure application below by the deadline to be considered.

Need A Little More Information?
Four $2,500 awards will be given to full-time students to support their educational aspirations and lifelong learning.
Applications are available starting in early February through April 30, 2025.
The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the school by Call Federal Credit Union at least one month prior to the start of the first semester.
Scholarship payments are eligible for Fall and Spring semesters only, depending on the degree or certificate pursued.
The winners will be announced no later than June 6, 2025. The four winners will be contacted by phone, email, and letter. Our non-winners will be notified by email. If you have any questions, please contact scholarship@callfederal.org.

Meet Our 2024 Recipients
We’re proud to present the 2024 Alice S. Pearce Scholarship Winners.
Jazmin Collins
A current student at Liberty University, Jazmin is passionate about serving underserved communities. In her current role as a behavioral therapist working with autistic individuals, she provides essential services, demonstrating her dedication. Additionally, she actively volunteers in her community, contributing to various non-profits and events. Upon graduation, Jazmin plans to continue her impactful work with a degree in counseling, focusing on pediatric counseling. Her goal is to support children and adolescents in the Greater Richmond area through positive reinforcement and enhancing family dynamics.
Anthony Roberson, Jr.
Anthony is completing his final year at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in the Film and Television Production program. He is driven to teach film to members of his community, especially in underserved areas of Richmond. With Richmond being a hub for the arts and a backdrop for numerous film and television productions, Anthony aims to contribute to this tradition. He envisions using the city’s vibrant canvas to showcase its historical beauty through film while inspiring and educating the eager youth in his community.
Rebecca Baculis
Recently graduated from Midlothian High and starting her freshman year at Penn State this fall, Rebecca is no stranger to empowering those around her. Passionate about supporting her community, she continually seeks innovative ways to better herself. This drive led her to start the Women’s Empowerment Club at her school. With her go-getter attitude and background in philanthropy, Rebecca is poised to make a significant impact not only in the Richmond area but wherever her career path takes her.
Sydney Keller
Sydney, a recent high school graduate, is about to embark on her freshman year at the University of Central Florida. While her creative side draws her to the arts, her curious mind is captivated by the sciences. She plans to major in General Biology, aiming for a career as a scientist. Passionate about her community, Sydney is eager to explore and learn more about the living world and its constant evolution, seeking ways to protect and enhance her surroundings.
