We’re upgrading our systems to bring you a better digital banking experience. During the transition, some services will be temporarily unavailable.

Please review the key dates, service details, and steps below so you know what to expect.

Early Cutoffs Begin

Some digital services become unavailable before upgrade weekend.

Bill Pay, Zelle, and MessagePay unavailable after 8:00 am ET. Any payments scheduled during the outage period will be processed as planned.

Digital Banking Unavailable

Online Banking and Mobile Banking become unavailable at 8:00 am ET.

Branches are open normal hours (9:00 am – 6:00 pm ET). Contact Center is open normal hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET). Shared Branches available until 6:00 pm ET.

Upgrade Weekend

Most member-facing services will be temporarily unavailable.

Reopen & Register

Services begin reopening and members can access the upgraded digital banking experience.

  • Branches reopen at 9:00 am ET.
  • Contact Center reopens at 8:00 am ET.
  • Shared Branches available at 8:00 am ET.
  • Register for our new Online Banking experience and access our new Mobile App.

Good to know! Debit and credit cards will remain available for everyday purchases. Rest assured that any scheduled payments and electronic transactions, including recurring payments, direct deposits, payroll deposits, and other ACH transactions, will continue to be processed as scheduled throughout the upgrade period.

What To Do Before The Upgrade

Taking a few steps before the upgrade can help you avoid delays while systems and services are temporarily unavailable.

✓ Make needed MessagePay loan payments
MessagePay will be unavailable Monday, July 27 at 8:00 am ET. Any payments scheduled prior to 8:00 am ET will be processed as planned.

✓ Schedule Bill Pay or Zelle activity
Bill Pay and Zelle will be unavailable Monday, July 27 at 8:00 am ET through Monday, August 3. Any payments scheduled before the outage period, including recurring payments, will continue to be processed as scheduled.

Online Banking and Mobile Banking will be unavailable beginning Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET through Monday, August 3.

SERVICE DETAILS

Looking for details about a specific service? Use the sections below to see what will be available, temporarily unavailable, or changing during the upgrade.

Branches

Branches will be open on Friday, July 31 until 6:00 pm ET. They are closed Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 3, and will reopen on  Tuesday, August 4 at 9:00 am ET.

Contact Center

The Contact Center will be open Friday, July 31 until 5:00 pm ET. It will be closed Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 3, and reopen Tuesday, August 4 at 8:00 am ET.

Shared Branches

Shared Branches will be available until 6:00 pm ET on Friday, July 31, unavailable Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 3, and available again beginning Tuesday, August 4 at 8:00 am ET.

Shared Branch Guest Members

Call Federal will not be able to serve Shared Branch Guest Members at our Chesterfield, Henrico, and Hanover branches from Monday, July 27 through Saturday, August 8. Shared Branch Guest Members are welcome back beginning Monday, August 10.

Online Banking

Online Banking will be unavailable beginning Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET. Beginning Tuesday, August 4, members will need to REGISTER and login to access the upgraded digital banking experience.

Mobile App

The Mobile App will be unavailable beginning Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET. Beginning Tuesday, August 4, Android users should download the new app. Apple users should expect an automatic update. Members will then REGISTER to login.

Account Alerts & Card Controls

Account Alerts & Card Controls will be available until Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET, but unavailable during the transition. Both will be available in the upgraded digital banking experience, with new options to help keep track of your account activity, beginning Tuesday, August 4.

Register for our new digital banking experience

Registration begins Tuesday, August 4 for the upgraded online & mobile banking experience. Additional instructions will be shared to help members login for the first time.

Bill Pay

Bill Pay will be unavailable beginning Monday, July 27 at 8:00 am ET through Monday, August 3. During this time, you will not be able to view, schedule, edit, or cancel payments. However, any payments scheduled before the outage period, including recurring payments, will continue to be processed as scheduled. Beginning Tuesday, August 4, simply login to your upgraded Digital Banking experience to access Bill Pay. All of your existing payees, scheduled payments, payment history, and Bill Pay information will be there waiting for you, so you can pick up right where you left off and manage your payments as usual.

Zelle®

Zelle will be unavailable Monday, July 27 at 8:00 am ET through Monday, August 3. Beginning Tuesday, August 4, simply login to your upgraded Digital Banking experience to access Zelle again. All of your existing payees, scheduled payments, payment history, and other information will be there waiting for you, so you can pick up right where you left off.

Loan Payments with MessagePay

MessagePay will no longer be available beginning Monday, July 27 at 8:00 am ET.

Beginning Tuesday, August 4, REPAY will be introduced as our new online loan payment solution, offering a convenient way to make loan payments through our upgraded digital banking experience. You will need to Register for Online or Mobile Banking to access this solution. If you need to make a loan payment between Monday, July 27 and Monday, August 3, you may do so using one of the following methods:

  • Mail a Check: Make your check payable to Call Federal Credit Union and include your loan ID in the memo line. Mail it to:

  • Visit a Branch: You may make your payment  at any Call Federal branch or participating      Shared Branch location before 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, July 31.

External Transfers

For security purposes, any external transfer accounts currently connected to your digital banking profile will need to be re-established after you register for the new digital banking experience.

Beginning August 4, you can reconnect your external accounts using Plaid, our secure account verification service. This process helps ensure the security of your accounts and personal information.

Wires

Wires will be available in the upgraded digital banking experience after you register and accept the Wire Agreement.

Debit & Credit Cards

Debit and credit cards will remain available for everyday purchases and ATM withdrawals while branches are closed.

ATMs

Members may continue using available ATMs for cash withdrawals during the upgrade.

Automated Phone System

The Automated Phone System will be available until Friday, July 31 at 6:00 pm ET, unavailable Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 3, and available again beginning Tuesday, August 4 with new registration.

Good To Know

Cards and ATM access are some of the most important services that will remain available while branches and digital banking are temporarily unavailable. Additionally, any scheduled payments, direct deposits, payroll deposits, or other transactions set to occur during the upgrade period will be processed as scheduled.

 

Electronic Statements

Enrollment for electronic statements will be unavailable after Monday, July 20 at 8:00 am ET through Monday, August 3. Electronic statements will remain available until Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET.

July Paper Statements

All members will receive a paper statement for July 2026, even if they are registered for electronic statements, because of the new digital banking upgrade. Members currently registered for electronic statements will receive their statement electronically for August 2026.

Statement History

August 2025 through June 2026 statement history is expected to be available in the upgraded digital banking experience. The July 2026 statement will be available shortly after launch.

General Upgrade Questions

We’re upgrading our systems to provide a better digital banking experience, stronger tools, and improved service for our members. This upgrade will help us offer more convenient, secure, and flexible banking options while continuing to provide the exceptional local service you expect from Call Federal.

The main upgrade period takes place from Friday, July 31 through Monday, August 3, with services resuming on Tuesday, August 4. Some services have earlier cutoff dates, so please review the Key Dates and Complete Service Schedule sections above for details.

Yes. Branches and the Contact Center will be closed Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 3, and will reopen Tuesday, August 4. Please review the Service Details section for more information.

Yes, we will notify members through email and on our website once the upgrade is complete.

Our banking system is responsible for handling and storing data and transactions including:

  • Opening and managing accounts
  • Maintaining account holder information
  • Processing and servicing loans
  • Processing cash deposits and withdrawals
  • Processing transactions
  • Integrating with online and mobile banking platforms

Online Banking & Mobile App

Online Banking and Mobile Banking will be temporarily unavailable beginning Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET. Members will be able to access the upgraded digital banking experience beginning Tuesday, August 4 after they Register and accept our new Terms & Conditions.

Yes. Beginning Tuesday, August 4, members will need to Register to access the upgraded Digital Banking experience, whether they prefer using their computer or our Mobile App. Additional instructions will be provided to help you complete the process.

Yes! Android users should download the new app from the Google Play store. Apple users should expect an automatic app update. After the upgrade, members will need to re-register before logging in.

Account Alerts and Card Controls will be temporarily unavailable during the transition and will be available in the upgraded digital banking experience beginning Tuesday, August 4.

Yes. QuickBooks® and Quicken® access will be available again beginning Tuesday, August 4, but members who use these tools will need to deactivate and reactivate their connection after the system upgrade.

QuickBooks® and Quicken® will be available until Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET, then temporarily unavailable during the upgrade weekend. Conversion instructions will be provided to help members reconnect after the upgrade.

After reconnecting, please review your downloaded transactions to make sure no transactions were duplicated or missed.

Yes. To access our new Digital Banking platform for the first time, you will need to visit callfederal.org, click Login in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Register to complete your enrollment.

If you previously bookmarked the Online Banking login page, that bookmark will no longer work after the upgrade. Once you have successfully registered and logged in to the new Digital Banking platform, we recommend updating your bookmark to the new login page for easy access in the future.

When Digital Banking becomes available, the primary account owner will need to complete a one-time registration process.

To verify your identity, you will need:

  • Your Call Federal account number or Call Federal debit card number
  • The last four (4) digits of your Social Security number
  • Your date of birth

Once your identity has been verified, you will be prompted to create a new username and password to access your Digital Banking account.

The registration process is quick and easy, allowing you to securely access all the features of our new Digital Banking experience.

Yes! As a new feature of our Digital Banking platform, any Call Federal accounts on which you are listed as a joint owner will automatically appear on your dashboard after you log in.

This makes it easier to view and manage all of your eligible Call Federal accounts in one convenient place, without needing separate logins or additional setup.

You can register for our new Digital Banking platform using either your computer or the mobile app.

Register on Your Computer

  1. Visit callfederal.org.
  2. Click Login in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Register.
  4. Follow the verification steps to create your new login credentials.

Register Using the Mobile App

We’re introducing an upgraded mobile banking experience with a new app icon.

  • iPhone users: If automatic app updates are enabled, your app should update automatically through the App Store.
  • Android users: Visit the Google Play Store and download the updated Call Federal app.

To register through the mobile app:

  1. Open the updated Call Federal app.
  2. Select More.
  3. Choose Register.
  4. Follow the verification steps to create your new login credentials.

Whether you register online or through the mobile app, you’ll only need to complete this registration process once to begin enjoying our enhanced Digital Banking experience.

Yes. As part of the upgrade, your existing account alerts will not transfer to the new Digital Banking platform, so you will need to set them up again after you register and login.

The good news is that our new Digital Banking experience offers more alert options and greater customization, giving you more control over how and when you receive notifications about your accounts.

Once logged in, we encourage you to review the available alert options and configure the ones that best meet your needs.

Yes. As part of the upgrade, any external accounts you’ve linked for transfers will need to be added again in the new Digital Banking platform.

The good news is that you’ll be able to connect external accounts using Plaid, a secure and convenient service that helps verify and link accounts from thousands of financial institutions. In most cases, connecting your external accounts will be faster and easier than before.

Once you’ve registered and logged in, simply go to ‘Move Money’ and then ‘Manage Transfers’ to reconnect your accounts and resume making transfers.

Cards, ATMs, & Security

Yes. Debit and credit cards will remain available for everyday purchases and ATM withdrawals while branches and digital banking are temporarily unavailable.

Members may continue using available ATMs for cash withdrawals during the upgrade.

Yes. Fraud monitoring for debit and credit cards will continue during the upgrade.

Call Federal will never contact you to ask for your account number, password, secure access code, or login information. If you receive a suspicious message or call, please contact us directly at 804.274.1200 before taking action.

Payments, Transfers, & Loans

Bill Pay will be unavailable beginning Monday, July 27 at 8:00 a.m. ET through Monday, August 3 as part of our system upgrade. During this time, you will not be able to view, schedule, edit, or cancel payments. However, any payments scheduled before the outage period, including recurring payments, will continue to be processed as scheduled.

Beginning Tuesday, August 4, simply log in to your upgraded Digital Banking experience to access Bill Pay. All of your existing payees, scheduled payments, payment history, and Bill Pay information will be there waiting for you, so you can pick up right where you left off and manage your payments as usual.

Zelle will be unavailable from Monday, July 27 at 8:00 a.m. ET through Monday, August 3 while we upgrade our digital banking experience.

Any Zelle transactions that are already scheduled during this period will be processed as planned. To ensure your payments are sent on time, please set up any new payments before 8:00 a.m. ET on Monday, July 27.

Beginning Tuesday, August 4, Zelle will be available within the upgraded digital banking experience. No additional setup or re-enrollment is required for either service. You will be able to pick up from where you left off!

No. Direct deposits will continue to be processed as normal during the system upgrade. If you receive a payroll, Social Security, pension, or other recurring direct deposit, you can expect it to be deposited according to its normal schedule from Friday, July 31 through Monday, August 3.

There is no action required on your part, and no delays are expected. Your direct deposits will continue to be processed and credited to your account as usual throughout the upgrade period.

MessagePay will no longer be available after Monday, July 27 at 8:00 am ET. Beginning Tuesday, August 4, REPAY will be introduced as our new online loan payment solution.

Direct deposits, ACH payments, and scheduled payments are expected to deposit or be made as scheduled. Please review the Complete Service Schedule for additional details.

Account Statements

Yes. All members will receive a paper statement for July 2026, even if they are registered for electronic statements, because of the digital banking upgrade.

Electronic Statement enrollment will be unavailable after Monday, July 20 at 8:00 am ET through Monday, August 3. Electronic statements will remain available until Friday, July 31 at 8:00 am ET. Members currently registered for electronic statements will receive their August 2026 statement electronically.

August 2025 through June 2026 statement history is expected to be available in the upgraded digital banking experience. The July 2026 statement will be available shortly after launch.

To support our system upgrade, eligible deposit accounts will receive one month of dividends early in July 2026.

This applies to:

  • Savings Accounts
  • Checking Accounts
  • Money Market Accounts
  • Certificates

The rest of your third-quarter dividends will be paid as usual at the end of the quarter in September 2026.

This temporary change is related to the system upgrade only and does not affect the dividends you earn on your account.

As part of our system upgrade, your Primary Savings Account has been renamed Membership Savings Account.

This is a name change only and does not affect how your account works. The new name better reflects that this account establishes and maintains your membership with Call Federal Credit Union.

As always, a minimum balance of $5 is required to maintain your membership.
